Very special place to wander through. Remember to visit the palm tree area next to it.

Beautiful old town with crumbling ruins and a well maintained museum in an old house. Well worth a visit. Park your car outside the village however as the streets are very narrow.

Nice area to walk around and see the old houses. Couldn't find out too much information about the homes. And some are in disrepair and dangerous to enter. Some homes are full of trash unfortunately. But it's beautiful to see how they were built and how they were used with areas they put candles and fires etc.

our hotel is at the abandoned village ( Al Hamra) but we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the quietness. We walked and wonder how it was 500 years ago! There is a nice cafe in the middle of dates plantation and a living museum to see the old building. not to be missed

Scenic and attractive village in the mountains. Lots of rustic charm. Some old buildings have been beautifully renovated to become hotels, restaurants, pubs and coffee places at the same time reflecting local tradition, history and culture. Nice walk around the village, needs a bit of climbing, not advisable for those with mobility problems.
